More Singaporeans care about climate change

Article: http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_765094.html

This article is about what Singapore is doing to help with the climate changes. It shows the public that the government is trying to solve or reduce these changes which are affecting many people. The article states that the NCCS is getting suggestions and different point of views of this problem that Singapore is facing. I think that this is a good idea because they would know what kind of different challenges the nation is facing due to these climate changes. Through this face-to-face poll, the NCCS can come up with more solutions to the problem and solve it as quickly as possible.

  1. I find that this is very encouraging that Singaporeans are starting to face reality and beginning to care about the environment. This is a good start for Singapore doing its part for the earth, but i feel that the government should do more to initiate this cause and help people to be more encouraged to care.

  2. I agree with Jake on many fronts. It took too long for Singaporeans to realise that our environment needs to be taken care off. This is definitely a great beginning for the government to challenge our people to do their part for the earth.
